  1. The city’s fiscal year has just started on July 1 so an update just about a month later seems an oddity. Is there new information that necessitates a change in direction? The council held several budget workshops in April, May and June to adopt the 16/17 budget so perhaps something significant has changed or the council is interested in changing priorities? The budget adopted should already support the priorities so hopefully not new priorities and direction without budget funds to support them. The election is in November so watch for more council directed ‘worskshops’ and town hall meetings. And the mayors breakfast meetings are on Fridays at 730am so this is sure to bring out people who are available on Fridays at 730am. Be sure to participate in meetings like this so that you can watch what goes on and keep priorities in line with what’s important to you.

  2. why not turn to reducing costs to whatever program there is????

Nothing is perfect nor are City programs since they fly by the taxpayers money!!!

Take water waste, just this past weekend, Alcosta Blvd. along the front of the main PO, but on Alcosta, one can easily see the most recent water stains indicating that the City is STILL IRRIGATING ASPHALT!!!

Very poor timer programming, very poor observations of the poor timer programming since there is plenty of water going to the streets in many areas of San Ramon.

    Simple fix!!!

Save tons of water and money!!!!

    What do you see/??

  3. frankly,
Instead of posting on this website that the city staff doesn’t read why don’t you spend about the same amount of effort contacting the city staff on THEIR website or call the public works department. They can be reached at 973-2800.

  4. There are many streets which are in bad need of being repaired.
Big topic which Council can address!!!

Many streets date back to when County dealt with them and before San Ramon became a city!!!

Many streets look like 3rd world ripped up, torn down, broken up roads causing many cars, tires to be worn out faster then necessary

Repairs Streets big need for coming years.
