About this blog: I've been involved in news media for more than 30 years in a number of roles in the newsroom ? from editorial assistant to "cops" reporter to executive editor. Currently I am the president and publisher of Embarcadero Media Group's East Bay division, which includes the Pleasanton Weekly newspaper, PleasantonWeekly.com, DanvilleSanRamon.com and LivermoreVine.com. I'm a journalist at heart. I enjoy answering questions and feel duty-bound to point out an injustice. Telling someone's story brings me immeasurable joy. I live in Danville and my husband, Steve, and I have six children between the two of us. When I?m not writing I can be found playing golf or bocce, or I can't be found because I'm traveling.  (Hide)
