Federal government addresses pipeline safety after San Bruno blast

In the wake of last week's deadly pipeline explosion in San Bruno, a Congressional committee met in Washington, D.C., this morning to discuss pipeline safety.

There are a lot of potentially explosive pipes running through San Ramon. The Kinder Morgan gasoline pipeline that blew up in Walnut Creek six years ago Web Link is planted between South San Ramon Creek and the Iron Horse Trail, right next to homes on both sides and behind Cal High.

These disasters shake up politicians for awhile and then they go back to sleep after a year or two. Make sure that Kinder Morgan is held responsible for the safety of its pipelines here too. Web Link
