SRVHS boys lacrosse holding thriller film screening, producer talk

Event runs 7-9 p.m. Thursday in school's performing arts center

The San Ramon Valley High School boys lacrosse team is hosting a screening of filmmaker Warren Miller's 2016 ski-adventure movie "Here, There & Everywhere" as a fundraiser next Thursday night.

Film producer Kurt Miller, son of the filmmaker, will be on hand to introduce the thriller film and give a short talk to the local audience.

The "Here, There & Everywhere" presentation is set for 7-9 p.m. Thursday in San Ramon Valley High's Performing Arts Center at 501 Danville Blvd., just outside downtown Danville. Tickets cost $15 apiece, with proceeds benefiting the Wolves' boys lacrosse program.

This is the first installment of the team's new "Be the Best" speaker series, which team organizers hope to present bimonthly and feature compelling figures from all walks of life, including sports, business, government and nonprofits. The March speaker has not been finalized.

For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the team's website.

As an added bonus every attendee will receive a 2 for 1 lift pass coupon for Squaw Valley/Alpine!* That's right, that's two Squaw or Alpine lift passes for the price of one!
Every attendee will also be entered for a chance to win one of three ski trips to Switzerland, Montana and Aspen... and some great event-day door prizes.
