San Ramon: Assemblywoman to co-host 'walk and talk town hall' Saturday

Baker also announces Erin Donnette as new chief of staff

Local Assemblywoman Catharine Baker is joining forces with the East Bay Regional Park District to present a "walk and talk town hall" during an Earth Day morning hike in San Ramon.

Baker (R-San Ramon) will speak with constituents about state issues impacting the community and share a legislative update. An East Bay Parks naturalist will also be on hand and present information of interest.

The interactive hike is scheduled from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Las Trampas Regional Wilderness, 18012 Bollinger Canyon Road. It will kick off Baker's second year of "walk and talk town halls."

For more information on the event, contact Baker's district office at 328-1515.

In other news, Baker also announced Tuesday that she has appointed Erin Donnette as her new chief of staff.

"Ms. Donnette is widely respected for her legislative and policy expertise and her solutions-oriented approach. She is a great addition to the team in service of Assembly District 16," the second-term assemblywoman said in a statement.

Donnette previously served as capitol director in the State Assembly. She replaces Nanette Farag, who accepted a position as director of member services for the Assembly Republican Caucus.
