Santa's Mailbox now open in Danville

Letters dropped off by Dec. 8 will receive response by Christmas Eve

The Danville Community center officially opened a Santa's Mailbox on Monday for children to drop off Christmas wish lists and letters, according to town officials.

Children can write a letter to Santa and drop it off until Dec. 8. In return, they will receive a letter by Christmas Eve, town officials said.

The mailbox is located in the lobby of the Danville Community Center at 420 Front St. Letters can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Another mailbox is also available at the Danville Library during regular business hours.

Parents are reminded to include a return mailing address with all letters.

More information about Santa's Mailbox is available by calling the Danville Community Center at 314-3400.
