The Danville Planning Commission is set to consider approving a flood hazard variance request on Tuesday to allow for a replacement single-family residence be constructed just off Diablo Road.
The property at 9 and 11 Buckeye Lane is located within the Zone A floodplain along Green Valley Creek, which is why the property owners need an approved variance in order to construct their replacement house, along with an accessory dwelling unit.
After evaluating the case, staff found that development on the site would not cause a threat to public safety or increased flood heights, and recommends the town approve the variance.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front St.
