The San Ramon Valley school board is set to hear a presentation on science standards and recognize some of the district’s exemplary teachers Tuesday night.

And the educators recognized by the district as Teachers of the Year will then go on to represent SRVUSD in the county’s Teacher of the Year competition later this year.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the district complex, 699 Old Orchard Drive in Danville.
