'Brew it Up, Wine it Down' in Danville

Danville Area Chamber to sponsor beer, wine and food tour of town

Beers, bites, music, wine and trolley rides.

"Brew it Up, Wine it Down" will feature those activities and more in Danville next Thursday (Aug. 16).

Sponsored by the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce, the event will highlight select businesses and breweries that will stay open and serve some of the areas select wines and craft brews.

With the purchase of tickets, participants will receive a commemorative glass, beer and wine tasting passes, tote bags, small bites, entertainment and a trolley ride between the two designated check-in locations

Participating venues include: Stone Cold Luxe, Brides On Hartz, Allstate Bill White, Danville Chocolates, Elisa Wen & Just Be Jewelry, Cottage Jewel, Fire & Rain Gallery by the Bay, Jules Thin Crust Pizza, Forbes Mill and Just Be Yoga, to name a few. More are expected to register before the event begins but so far over 40 locations are estimated to participate.

Tickets run for $35 if purchased online and $40 for procrastinators who wait until the day of to buy their pass. Don’t want to drink? Then you are in luck as the chamber is offering special $15 tickets for registered designated drivers.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. at one of the two check in locations, the Veterans Memorial Building, 400 Hartz Ave., or the Danville Livery parking lot adjacent to Luna Loca Mexican Restaurant, 500 Sycamore Valley Road.
