San Ramon: City Center to host 'Fashion for Fire Relief' fundraiser

Participating stores to donate to the American Red Cross California Wildfire Relief Fund

The Camp Fire in Butte County may have finally been contained by firefighters, but the devastating effects are still being felt by thousands of residents whose homes have been lost in the blaze.

San Ramon’s City Center Bishop Ranch wants to help ease their burden.

On Friday, participating stores at City Center will be hosting a fundraising event titled “Fashion for Fire Relief,” with special deals and sales benefiting the fire relief efforts of the American Red Cross.

Participating stores will be serving light refreshments to shoppers, holding special events and donating up to 10% of sales to the relief effort. Stores include:

* Alys Grace, 20% off one regularly priced item (excluding jewelry), and a raffle for a $100 gift certificate.

* Athleta, will be raffling off a $50 gift card.

* KIN The Label, will be donating 15% of all sales to the Red Cross and hosting a special “Make a Mistletoe” event as well as raffling off a KIN hat and silk scarf.

* M, is hosting an informal modeling of pieces curated by Maggie Rizer, and raffling a Starry Night Ethics Supply candle.

* Monokrome, employee's will offer candy apples and cocktails to patrons as well as a special raffle and offering the first 10 guests 20% kickback coupons.

* Neeko, as a part of their grand opening -- which will also occur on Friday -- the retailer will be hosting informal modeling session as well as a raffle.

* On The Edge, is offering a free Mark Nason gift to a limited number of customers and raffling off a $200 gift card.

* the piece. store, is offering bite-sized treats from Itty Bitty Bake Shop, and hosting a gift card raffle.

* Trader, will be hosting a raffle where shoppers can win the Moonlight Surnada Ethics Supply candle.

Residents unable to attend Friday but still wish to contribute may donate to the Red Cross disaster relief fund online, calling 1-800-HELP NOW (1-800-435-7669) or texting the word CAWILDFIRES to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

Fashion for Fire Relief will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Bishop Ranch City Center, 6000 Bollinger Canyon Road.
