The Danville Town Council is set to weigh final approval of a preliminary development plan for 18 single-family homes in east Danville on Tuesday evening.
According to a town staff report, the development plan for the project requests that town officials rezone and subdivide the 5.05-acre Tassajara Nursery property -- located on 2550 Camino Tassajara -- for an 18 single-family-home residential development.
The council indicated initial support for the project during its May 7 meeting, so the final approval vote on Tuesday is listed among the council's consent agenda -- up for approval without further discussion unless requested by a resident or council member
The Danville Town Council is scheduled to gather for its regular meeting Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front St.

The council will also consider approving up to $50,000 to support local businesses with its business promotion fund. If approved by the Town Council, this increase would result in just over $33.2 million worth of operating expenditures for the 2019-20 fiscal year.
The council will hold its special study session, Tuesday 8:30 a.m., at the Danville Town Offices, 510 La Gonda Way.
