San Ramon’s summer concert series in the Central Park Amphitheater kicks off on July 4 with an Independence Day celebration and a concert featuring Garratt Wilkin & The Parrotheads, a Jimmy Buffet tribute band. Selections will include everything from “Cheeseburger in Paradise” to “Margaritaville,” from 5-8 p.m.

The evening will begin with patriotic music from Olympia Fields and a tribute to veterans, and will also feature free kids crafts and game for an evening of fun for the whole family.

The free outdoor concerts continue that Sunday, July 7, a celebration of summer as music lovers gather in the grassy bowl of the amphitheater, beginning at 5:30 p.m. every Sunday, ending Aug. 4.

Bring a blanket or low chair for the event. The Food Truck Mafia will be on hand to sell a selection of food options, and beer, wine, soda and water will be for sale.
