San Ramon Mayor Bill Clarkson is set to give his ninth and final State of the City on Feb. 19, where he will reflect on the recent accomplishments achieved by the city as well as the challenges that lay ahead.
Hosted by the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Clarkson will discuss a variety of issues facing San Ramon and the wider community including the opening of City Center, the preservation of open space and the city’s ongoing struggle to maintain local control over the planning approval process for housing and other developments.
Clarkson is entering his last year as mayor of San Ramon, and will term out after being elected to a fourth and final term as the city’s mayor in 2018.
Set to be held at the San Ramon Marriott, Clarkson’s State of the City address will begin with a networking period, followed by lunch, VIP introductions, Clarkson’s address and will close with a brief question and answer segment.
The event, which required advanced registration to attend, is set to run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at the San Ramon Marriott, 2600 Bishop Drive.
Tickets are available for $45 for San Ramon Chamber members and $55 for non-members.
