The Danville Town Council is set to convene to discuss planning for the town’s triennial Design Awards on Tuesday morning at a public study session.
Created in order to publicly recognize the buildings that best exemplify the outstanding architectural designs found in Danville, at Tuesday’s meeting town officials will review nominees for the 10th Design Awards and consider selecting winners.
Projects will be recognized in the following categories: Outstanding Residential Subdivision Home Design; Outstanding Heritage Resource Design; Outstanding Commercial Design; and Outstanding Custom Scenic Hillside Home Design.
Award winning projects will be recognized at a regularly scheduled Town Council meeting on March 17, and will be displayed on the town’s website.
At Tuesday’s study session, council members are also set to receive an update on staff’s efforts to relocate the town offices as well as a special legislative update from Town Manager Joe Calabrigo.
The Danville Town Council is set to hold its special meeting on Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. at the Danville Town Offices, 510 La Gonda Way.
