Sitting members of two of the bodies with vacancies set to be filled Tuesday have submitted their recommendations for candidates to be appointed by the council, who are set to vote on resolutions that would appoint the candidates to their recommended seats.

Dinesh Govindarao -- who ran for mayor in the 2022 general election -- and Kyle Levy are being recommended for seats on the Library Advisory Committee for two-year terms. The Arts Advisory Committee is recommending Shelley Barry, Venkata Chinna Rao Chintapalli, Madhuri Karanam, and Naina Shastri as regular members for two-year terms.

The Parks and Community Services Commission is recommending Colette Clark, Sandra March, Velda Lee Chick and Judith Murphy to fill regular seats for two-year terms on the Senior Citizens Advisory Committee, and Pouran Lind for an alternate seat for a two-year term.

The terms for all current vacancies on the advisory committees would be through March 2025.
