Alan Curdy 65 of Gold Hill Or. passed away January 24, 2015 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, Medford Or.

Alan was born April 17, 1949 to Frank and Maxine Curdy. He grew up in Pleasanton, Ca where he graduated from Amador High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and serviced in Vietnam. Alan moved to Rogue Valley in 1984 and worked in the metal fabrication trade. He married Sally McCoy in 1992.

His love of hunting began at an early age. He also loved his motorcycles and the feeling of freedom he had while riding.

He is survived by his wife Sally; three children, Jamie Glass, Jeremy Curdy and Colt Curdy; and twelve grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Frank Curdy, sister Joyce Messa and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Leanne Cakus.

Services were held January 30, 2015 at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Oregon
