I don't disagree that alcohol played a large role in this ridiculous behavior. But, the use of marijuana did not help the situation and probably made it worse. I hear people say that marijuana is no worse than alcohol. Great. But, look how many problems alcohol has created. Why do we want something else that's just as bad?

I have yet to hear of somebody crashing their car or beating their wife\girlfriend when they have been smoking marijuana. If anything the the weed will just make you drive slower or to sit at a stop sign waiting for it to turn green. Alcohol on the other hand...

Breaking it down to "just the facts": the guy is a total jerk. Knocking down the fence because he had a falling out with a former friend is beyond words. The good news is that with such a DUI under 21 he'll be off the roads for a while. (hopefully)
