Dear Dolores,

It is very good to see John Madden out in our corridor and being part of his community. In Alamo, as Tony LaRussa, Christi Yamaguchi and Joe Morgan visit stores and shops, we see neighbors simply treat them as neighbors so they can enjoy their lives.

When these celebrities are at home in their neighborhoods and out of the spotlight, they should be treated just like any other neighbor - with respect for their privacy and included in our everyday activities as our neighbors and not celebrities. I'm sure most would appreciate not being photographed at every outing.

FYI, that photo was set up with his cooperation as he gave the interview to the reporter. Our photographer did not sneak it.
