Has anyone kept records of how many accidents there have been on 680 in the construction zone, between Crow Canyon Rd and Sycamore, since the work began? It seems like there have been so many. I even saw a car flip over one morning on my drive to work in San Ramon. I hope this construction will be completed soon.

Long-time local-
Agreed that it seems like there have been more accidents lately...I blame the drivers...not the construction zones. No one observes or respects the need to slow down in construction zones. Reducing speed and a little more defensive driving would solve all the problems.

There are free online defensive driving videos and courses out there. If CHP would enforce speeding and traffic violations in those zones a bit more, I think it would be a slight deterent...but ultimately it is going to come down to the drivers themselves.
