SRVUSD recognizes No Name-Calling Awareness Week

The San Ramon Valley school district is observing its first-ever No Name-Calling Awareness Week, with students and staff participating in a variety of ways, including art activities, classroom discussions and wearing a blue wristband displaying a key message of the program, "Words Matter."

Diversity in our community is an asset. Accepting all for who they are no matter their ethnicity, sexual orientation, handicap or religious affiliation, all have their unique gifts that benefit SRVUSD. Celebrate diversity.

Great idea, SRVUSD!

@Julie (Julia???), what's your beef? Other than teachers are participating in something that is primarily the responsibility of parents, many who frequently drop the ball. Are you under the impression that they will be home eating bon bons while the kids run the school for the day?
