Monte Vista senior wins $36,000 science scholarship

A senior from Danville's Monte Vista High received a $36,000 college scholarship last week from a Connecticut-based green technology firm seeking to help the best and brightest science and tech students in the country.

I am amazed and humbled all at the same time. Congratulations! Wish they had this award back when I was in Babylon. I once knew three young men who would have done something exciting in science.
