Baker's child-abuse prevention bill becomes law

Gov. Jerry Brown has signed into law a bipartisan bill co-authored by local Assemblywoman Catharine Baker (R-San Ramon) that requires the State Department of Education to establish guidelines and best practices for child-abuse prevention in schools and school programs.

We are so fortunate that a person of Catherine
Baker's quality; is now involved in our political system. Heard her speak yesterday and her wisdom and good old common sense; is going to make a big difference in all of our lives here in Calif.
