They say any dog can have his day, and this occurred when they hired Jim Harbaugh. The jury is in and the facts do not lie, he turned Stanford around in one season, the Niners were next and no he has succeeded again in Michigan. Score this one: Harbaugh 1, Yorks 0!
We have seen a mass exodus of talent, a refusal to adopt a conduct policy and now the destruction of a career coach who is over his head. Tomsula is a good man and a god coach, but not a head coach. There is no shame in this. In fact there is nothing but honor for a man so dedicated to his craft.
Is the value of the team diminished? Of course not, especially with a new stadium. However, the support of the fan base is undeserved for the Yorks. In fact the Yorks deserve nothing but contempt and fan rebellion.
Eddie D, was a hero to this area and still is in my book. His sister's family is unsuited and if they care about the team and their legacy, they will sell it and reap the rewards of their business acumen, the appreciation of the team due to their real estate skills.
Kaep is a good QB. He has all the tools and has been set up for failure, just like the coach. It is not the Yorks and Balke who were smart cutting his deal, it was his agent. Kaep, will be gone next year and picked up and retooled like Alex Smith. V. Davis is gone to Denver, lucky soul. He will excel and most likely come away with a ring, or at the very least, a deep playoff run and a rebirth of his career. This list reads like a sorry tale of talent mismanagement for fueling the egos of the wealthy and powerful. The character of the ownership is despicable.
Sell the team Boobs, this should be the cry of every 9er fan. Boycott, perhaps this is the only way to rescue the team? How about reinstate Eddie?
