Racist Graffiti In High Schools

Over the last month, two high schools have experienced incredibly racist graffiti in the bathrooms. While the district and teachers are working hard to change this mentality, ultimately it rests in the home. The fact that high school students felt it was o.k to write words we haven't seen since the 1950's, speaks volumes as to what our children are hearing from their parents. Our school district personnel can only do so much. Suck it up parents and teach your children tolerance. It will come back to haunt you if you don't.

I only hope the kids who do this, will see their parents prosecuted for a hate crime. Any child who does this, has been exposed to this outside of school.
