Not only should he be removed from office he should be brought up on felony charges. If I were embarrassed for (stealing money and getting caught) mistakenly spending someone elses money the judge would laugh at me and through me jail and make me pay restitution. He should be shown no leniency, being a trusted servant he should be setting the example. I am tired of hearing of all the corruption in politics and no reprimand for any of there behaviour. It's a double standard we live in, it doesn't work when I tell my children do as I say not as I do, yet that is exactly what the government does to us time and time again.

Agree completely with Resident/Alamo, well said.

"I am humbled and embarrassed by my mistakes, for which I take full responsibility and I apologize for my regrettable errors," Peterson said in December in response to the FPPC findings. Peterson really should have said:
I am humbled and embarrassed by my hand being caught in the cookie jar, for which I take full responsibility and I apologize for my regrettable errors in not being sly and devious enough to be more stealthy to evade detection.

HOSE HIM!
