Congratulations to Chief Allan Shields from all of your fellow Veterans at the Veterans Memorial Building of San Ramon Valley - located in the Town of Danville.

You and Chief Simpkins, along with the entire Danville Police Department have continued to support the entire community making Danville one of the safest Towns in the east bay. Your personal support of the Veteran community is positive and clear. The Departments participation in any Operation Welcome Home events held for local returning warriors. We also greatly appreciate your extra effort in maintaining the highest security of two historic sites valued highly by the Veteran community... these two landmarks include... our beautiful remodeled Veterans Memorial Building with a museum & library and the amazing All Wars Memorial at Oak Hill Park.

Again, congratulations Allan on the promotion to Chief... a very well deserved recognition of you knowledge, skill, professionalism & talent.
