Congressman Swalwell would really make me happy if he converted to a Republican and got on the 'Trump train'.
( like the announcement yesterday of a Democratic governor who converted )
That would better serve his constituents. He seems to be headed down the wrong road now.

Being a front-running, banal politician and a uniquely specious Congressman, Mr. Swalwell is prototypically suited for the Democrat caucus. Since his first day in office he's been running to replace Dianne Feinstein. Yes, California, we can do worse than Di-Fi - - and - - Kamala Harris (where CA voters defied gravity and found a vainglorious, maladroit, uniquely unqualified shill - who knew Barbara Boxer had a clone?). Nothing is impossible for CA Dems/Libs/Progs - guaranteed underperformance, failure assured.

Eric is an affable guy, but unfortunately I think he's listening to the wrong drum beats. I don't know if the Democratic party is pushing this down on him or was it his own choice, but the things he says sounds like the same old rhetoric from the Democratic Party that the American people rejected during the election. Your American middle class is tired of being pushed aside and all the attention being given to special interest. The Democratic party needs to realize this. ( But somehow I think they're stuck on supposedly Russian cover-ups and transgender bathrooms) (gee, they should investigate the deep dealings Hillary has with the Russians, and made millions from!!!)

Swalwell does not represent my interests; he is an anti Trump obstructionist that has nothing positive to contribute. Swalwell is a simple Democratic Party hack, a tool of Nancy Pelosi & Dianne Feinstein. We need to dump Swalwell at the next election.

Catherine Baker please run for his seat. You have shown the ability to cross the aisle and get along well with others, unlike Swalwell who refuses to acknowlege Trump as President and refuses to put country over party. Swalwell is just a younger version of Pete Stark, a self promoter, pawn of Nancy Pelosi, who refuses to work with Republicans.

74 - 26% last year. And DeSaulnier won 72 - 28% This board is a bit of a minority report.

No, this Board represents Danville. Hayward, Castro Valley, Dublin, Livermore gets him elected. Not Danville.

Pssst. Swalwell got ZERO votes in Danville, because he doesn't represent Danville - Desaulnier does, which is why his numbers are included, above.

another fact this minority, lightly traveled area misses: Calif and the Bay Area is HEAVILY Democratic voter registrations with also a high number of 'decline to state' registrations. The GOP crowd should really move to southern Calif where there are more GOPs. they will feel at home.
Until then, the voters who vote decide who is in office and the facts of who wins stands.
Long live the 'decline to state' party.

" Scott Hale": Danville, as of 2012 census, had the highest percentage of registered Republicans in the Bay Area, and one of the highest in the entire state. Law abiding, pro-police, educated, hard working, self sufficient, involved parents, who regularly attend religious services-why leave that???

Sorry to break-into Mythology 101, but
Danville 2016: Clinton 13,969 (62%), Trump 8360.

And "Professor" Cushing, how does that percentage compare to the rest of the Bay Area cities? Please, "Professor", tell us, what Bay Area cities had a higher percentage of voters vote for Trump than Danville? Danville has 42% registered Republican, and only 37% registered Democrats, which as I previously noted, as of the 2012 census, was the highest percentage of registered Republicans in the bay area. That was the point. If you live in the Bay Area, the highest percentage of registered Republicans, is in Danville. Class is now over.

Well sure, Am and it's in keeping with your fantasy theme that what's important is Not what people Do, but what they Say they'll do. Results don't count, intentions do - right? Mr./Ms. Smith has it right, above.
And if your next irrelevance is to attack my institutional employer, bring it on. Web Link

American: ah, because Democratic voters out number GOP by a wide margin? I mean, wouldn't you feel more at home? No doubt Blackhawk area also has high number of GOP, however, pales when you include the entire Bay Area and State wide. yeah?
the non-sheep go with 'decline to state' party. That way we can throw stones at both inept parties.

Why do GOPers whine so much? Maybe they should just move to a red state.

Trump does not represent my values or for that matter any decent values. He's nothing but an entitled blowhard. My values which I cherish are well represented by Mr Swalwell and not the Danville branch of the GOP.
