Man accused of firing shotgun into San Ramon apartment, nearly hitting baby

An Antioch man was charged by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office earlier this week after being arrested in February for allegedly shooting through the floor of a San Ramon apartment, with the bullet narrowly missing a baby, police said.

Good news: Likely unintended discharge, (unless he was aiming for baby crying noises.
Bad news: Firearms have the power to impact more than their immediate area.
Good news: Based on other items found, someone was found out and stopped before having the chance to do anything even more idiotic, and no one was physically hurt, although the baby's parents my have a hard time feeling secure at home for a while!
