Life is more precious as it becomes shorter. No small stuff should matter. Be at peace with your neighbors.

Anyone, regardless of old age, senior citizen status, who brandishes a weapon and bangs on his neighbors door, stabbing the neighbor, needs to go away for the remainder of their lives. Everyone thinks, now that the current administration has opened the flood gates to any and all activity, we can become as violent and abusive to our neighbors as we see fit. Set an example, put this nut away. Oh won't you be my neighbor!!!

Oh come on Danville Dad! This unfortunate incident has nothing to do with Trump. Nice try. Since the article does not go further into explaining the incident, none of us really know the circumstances of the alleged assailant. Could it be emerging lack of capacity? We don't know and all parties have the right to medical privacy. If this was your dad (or you someday) acting out, I am sure you would want all the facts and help before you screamed "lock him up." By the way, my sympathies to the victim and his family. A trauma that no one should have to go through.

I agree with Danville Mom. It was a nice try to blame this one on Trump.

Danville Dad - why do you find it necessary to politicize a stabbing where most of the facts, besides the fact that a stabbing and tire slashing occurred, are unknown? The likelihood that the perpetrator is a liberal is a lot better, given the abnormal level of liberals in CA generally and northern CA in particular, makes it much more likely the perp is 'one of yours'. Ooopppsss!!! I guess I made it political, too.

Has anybody tried to figure out what the motive was? I lived in Shadow Hills and loved the community.
