Danville police seek suspect in bank robbery

At approximately 11:53 a.m. officers responded to reports of an armed bank robbery at the First Republic Bank, 680 Hartz Ave. According to Danville Police Chief Allan Shields during the incident the suspect brandished a firearm and after taking an undisclosed amount of cash, fled north on Hartz Avenue toward School Street.
