Season of giving: Nonprofit wish lists to help everyone spread holiday spirit

We reached out to Tri-Valley nonprofits this month, and many have provided their wish lists for those residents who want to include them in their gift-giving. So the next time your shopping at you're favorite retailer, grocery store or small business here in Pleasanton, consider also making a purchase to help these nonprofits during the holidays.

I would highly recommend and add Larkin Street Services to this list. Tonight, more than 1,300 young people will find themselves on the streets of San Francisco through no fault of their own. Since 1984, Larkin Street Youth Services has given more than 75,000 young people a safe place to rebuild their lives. They provide housing, education and employment training, and health and wellness supports to help these young people get off the street for good.(I quote). For more info and ways to help:

Yet another article in the Danville San Ramon patch all about Pleasanton and Livermore with nothing in Danville or San Ramon. And now they want us to pay for these articles?? Insanity!!
