Danville Planning Commission to discuss West El Pintado Road townhouse project

The construction of 37 townhouses within central Danville is set to be the top item of conversation for the town’s Planning Commission on Tuesday evening, during which commissioners will discuss the environmental impact of the proposed development and consider recommending final approval to the Town Council.

The Danville Planning Commission needs to try to find a parking spot downtown around noon any day of the week to understand that additional residences, on top of the ones already being built by 680, will further negatively impact the traffic and congestion downtown.

At what point is housing development halted?

We can’t drive or park anywhere in Danville as it is. All of the new “development” is only destroying the quality of life we once enjoyed here. Such a shame.

Ughh...It's gonna be even harder to get in and out of my neighborhood on Sunday mornings and after school gets out.. I miss the orchard that was where the Old Town development is now. Oh well
