I attend one of the town halls that a buddy shared with me. What SRVEA fails to realize is that they they rallied the community by showing us what reserves the district had and then dropped the ball by not really making an impact in the lives of our kids. My wife and I are happy they got their raise, but over all- not much of a change. Don't ask us to pay more in our taxes- we pay enough. Learn to budget and use what you have-- our district should be budgeting according and using the money we have now for the students we have now.

A neighbor told me that whatever the teachers get in terms of raises so do the administrators, including the very ones who sat across the table and and bargained "against" the teachers' union. An interesting arrangement.
