DeSaulnier announces legislation to expand suicide prevention services in doctor’s offices

The Suicide Prevention Assistance Act (H.R. 7116) would create a grant program, distributed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, to expand suicide prevention efforts for adults in doctor’s offices and other primary care settings.
