City Center Bishop Ranch will be continuing its monthly Community Block Party events on Saturday, with the theme of this month’s party to showcase the “Fitness and Fun” offerings found at City Center.

The City Center Community Block Party is a monthly series put on by shopping complex in order to encourage residents to explore the center’s offerings during and enjoy a variety of special events and deals . According to City Center officials, the complex is currently 80% leased and residents will have plenty of options to explore as the center nears total occupancy.

Block party organizers say attendees will also be entertained by the jaw-dropping acrobatic talents of Revel Society Circus, who will be celebrating the Fitness and Fun retailers located in City Center, with a particular focus on Athleta, Equinox, THE LOT and the piece. store.

A variety of special deals will be offered throughout the day, and shoppers who spend $200 or more in one or a combination of City Center stores and restaurants will receive two tickets to THE LOT — redeemable at the concierge stand next to Pottery Barn.

Participating retailers with special deals, items or snacks attendees are invited to explore include:

* Anthropologie, will be giving shoppers who register for a watercolor and brush-lettering workshop from Sweet Blooms Co. a beautifully framed quote to take home.

* Athleta, will be offering a special class and membership offers from Shred415.

* the piece. store, is providing 25% off all in-store activewear.

* Candle Delirium, shoppers who purchase an item will get to enjoy a free gift in addition to complementary bites and drinks.

* Equinox, will also provide bites and drinks for shoppers to enjoy while they peruse the center.

* On The EDGE, 10% off full-priced purchases store wide.

Eateries that will be offering sips and small bites to attendees include the recently opened C CASA and MIXT as well as The Slanted Door, which will be providing bites in front of the restaurant.

City Center plans to offer residents even more options in the near future, as a Sephora will open later in May followed by Gio Gelati, Bamboo Sushi and Joe & The Juice in the summer.

City Center’s Community Block Party is free to attend and set to occur Saturday, from 4-6 p.m. in Alexander Square, 6000 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon.
