U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Livermore) held a town hall meeting at Dougherty Valley High School in San Ramon on Aug. 21, where he answered questions presented by his District 15 constituents, including from Pleasanton, and spoke about current affairs both local and national.

Topics the Tri-Valley congressman discussed included increasing funding for mental health care at the local level, the presidential campaign season, banning and buying back assault weapons, a past meeting with President Donald Trump, impeachment and a moral obligation to support refugees.
