Danville: License plate readers help identify stolen vehicle; driver arrested

A Bay Point man was arrested Thursday morning in Danville after the allegedly stolen vehicle he was driving passed by an automated license plate reader, according to police.

Good work by the Danville police. I have been supporting getting these for San Ramon to help cut down crime. Hope this article helps

Okay....I can't help myself.... I get really irked when the word "alleged" has to be used when a perp is caught with the goods. (I know cautious/fair wording is necessary.) Just sayin'
