Great Job DPD!!!

I can't wait to hear the naysayers cry about how their tax money is spent.

Again, great job DPD!!!

I agree with Malcom. Great job Danville PD. Thank goodness Danville is not San Francisco.

Well done DPD. It would be interesting to see what would happen if this operation was tried at school bike racks and in front of private homes. Also, expensive purses, sport and compute bags, etc left in vehicles.

Great job Danville PD!! Thank God Danville is one of the last towns in the Bay Area where the public, the politicians, and the police all put law and order and reducing crime over the so called rights of the criminal elements. These two adult criminals, in their 40's, left their own town, and drove to Danville for the specific intent to commit crime and steal things that did not belong to them. If they did not find this expensive bike, they would have looked for an open garage, an elderly lady loading her grocery cart and not watching her purse, or other target.

In San Francisco, "quality of life" has disappeared for law abiding citizens as the new liberal DA refuses to charge "quality of life" crimes.

Thank you, Danville PD, for doing your job so well and know we appreciate your efforts to keep Danville from turning into San Francisco.

Bunch of sourpusses - three out of four commenters can't constrain themselves to a simple compliment to the DPD, but instead have to attempt backhanded swipes at other communities' perceived failings.

That big chip on your shoulders is weighing you down.

Can't compare Danville to SF... It's not even close! 50k people VS 1M people. There is not enough room in jail. Our scenario are vastly different even at a statewide level. I am all for law and order, wishing our whole state would be just like our little bubble which I can say is perfect! But stop looking at us verses them attitude.

Oh Jerry and sourpuss, get over yourselves. SF is a dump. Period.

I read the suspects names elsewhere. Most media at least has the guts to print their names and not protect the criminals. In a bait sting, it's not like they're innocent. Liberals are pathetic.

Come on back when you learn how to use that snappy "get over yourselves" rejoinder, and not look foolish doing it.

Yeah! Why can't LIBERALS just post the names of all criminals on an easily searchable website, so I can more easily imagine myself executing people for stealing a bike?!?!?!

@ Sourpuss

You must feel mighty powerless - hence the rage. But that’s okay. You and Bernie can take a trip back to the former Soviet Union where Bernie and his wife honeymooned. Oh, and Bernie thought the Soviet model of communism was such a great thing at the time, and probably still does. At least now I know where you get your cue from.

BTW, try reading the a Mueller report. An uneducated mind is a terrible thing to waste.
