SRVUSD to open wellness centers at Dougherty Valley, Cal High next school year

In an effort to curb the rising rates of anxiety and to promote mental wellness among students, the SRVUSD has announced that it will be opening its first two wellness centers at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year.

Love this! It's so tough being a kid, and I'm so glad to see the community I live in helping our teens with such important life skills.

I'm so glad to see this added support for the kids in our community. The pressures on kids are so pronounced, and the lack of understanding around these pressures can lead to teen suicide and basic maladaptive behaviors that can be life-long. How wonderful to live in a community where this is taken seriously, and a plan of action is being realized.
