Will armed guards be restricting travel?
If county politicians really wanted to help their resident out during this crisis, they would eliminate the next installment of our property taxes.

How will this shelter in place be enforced ? I live in Livermore!
Everyone is in panic mode ! What about paying our bills & buying food ? The grocery store shelves are low on supplies!

Laurie,
Essential services will remain open. Restaurants can provide take out or delivery, grocery stores will remain open, convenience stores, basically anywhere that sells household consumer products (cleaning and personal care) and groceries. More info is coming in, please visit the Contra Costa Helath Services website Web Link or the City of San Ramon's website for up to date information at Web Link

PG&E, EBmud, cell phone companies should give everyone a break on bills for the time being. Forgive a month or allow for people to pay late without penalties. Federal tax dates need to be changed to a later date.

tim: if you have enough money to own property, you are not in the neediest demographic - by a loooong shot.
This might be an opportunity to outside of yourself and help someone else.

I'm not allowed to work on my own house that I'm rebuilding by myself because I'm not living there at the present time. I'm not spreading the virus I'm the only one there.
