This is NOT a real agreement. Shame on both the Unions and the School District. The amount of the raise is minuscule compared to the generous salaries of the Superintendent and others in the School District. A key issue of classroom size was barely addressed which means that classes will still be too large.
And all of this is contingent upon the passage of another attempt to chip away at the Original Prop 13. "The agreement also includes a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the use of increased revenues contingent on the passage of the "California Tax on Commercial and Industrial Properties for Education and Local Government Funding Initiative." That will only be the first step by Sacramento, which already gives us our nation's highest taxes. Be careful what you vote for...

I read on the districts website that they are following the states guidelines and will not be giving grades. I couldn't find anything on the CDE website that talks about not giving grades. Does anyone have any info?
