Greg Marvel, did nothing when Mr Matthews in Nov 2017 said a student was going to drown if they did not reduce the swim class size in PE freshmen swim class. But the comment that Greg said when the Swim Team at SRV High wanted to continue with out life guards was "Not on my watch will a student die". Yet Ben Curry died on his watch and he could have prevented the death by listening to a PE Teacher who had saved the life of his student from drowning. When is accountability going to be placed on board members that have a history of sweeping student abuses under the rug. [removed pending verification] The recent payout of 8 million dollars because of the negligent drowning death of Ben Curry. [removed pending verification] Rogenski is who handles complaints from parents at SRVUSD yet he believes that “concerns are ill-conceived and unfounded.” . Rogenski was the main defender of Aaron Becker’s actions that resulted in the death of Ben Curry the teachers union did not even get involved. So even when a child dies the concerns are “ill-conceived and unfounded”.

All of the above happened on Greg Marvel's watch and he needs to be held accountable and explain to the parents why he allowed it to happen. SRVUSD is being supervised by board members and administrators that believe a cover up of abuses to our children is normal business.

SRV Parent-I could not agree with you more. You are spot on with concrete reasons why the board needs change. Luckily he is not running unopposed this year. Everyone should give Shelley Clark serious consideration. She is a problem solver and independent. I am so happy to see her running-we need change!

In the middle of a deadly virus there is no way I am voting for a man that sent a letter on SRVUSD letter head condemning vaccination of children. Greg is against vaccination of children. This is a man that does not believe in science and medical facts. The number of dead children around the world without vaccination would be in the millions. How does a man with such a resume believe it is within his job to actually use SRVSD letter head and his title as "SRVUSD Board President" to create such a letter. The result was SRVUSD was labeled as a anti-vaccine district. Some parents within the district actually used Greg's letter to decide not to get their children vaccinated. He is not a professional with such total disregard for the ethics of the office he was elected for.
