Danville: Commission to review plans for downtown Taco Bell Cantina Restaurant

Danville may become the first Tri-Valley community to have a Taco Bell Cantina Restaurant, pending potential final approval by the town's Planning Commission during its special meeting on Tuesday.

Since there's already a Taco Bell 6 blocks away, and not shortage of other Mexican in downtown Danville -- like the excellent Los Panchos that is 1 block away, I'm having a hard time thinking this is needed or an improvement.

In fact, it's likely to cause grief for the locally owned Los Panchos.

All things considered, I'd rather have, yes, a burger joint there.
