Danville council looks to formally oppose Tassajara Parks housing development

The Danville Town Council is set to consider issuing formal opposition to the Tassajara Parks housing development proposed outside the town limits, a project that town staff argue would raise "both policy and environmental issues."

OK but if it is NOT in Danville then why is the Danville Town Council involved? They had no problem with the high density housing on Diablo Road near our downtown area.

WTH?!?! Why do we have to fight off further development along Tassajara every few years? They've tried everything from making this area a cemetery to various attempts at MORE residential housing... meanwhile reaping the tax benefits of owning what has been zoned as agricultural parcels for decades. The County needs to stop this (again), and if the Town is helping to stop it too, then great.
