Contra Costa supervisors to discuss cannabis 'community benefit' spending

The Board of Supervisors is set to discuss on Tuesday establishing a process for approving expenditures of "community benefit" funds to be received from commercial cannabis businesses that end up opening and operating in the county.

Spend it on roads, parking, schools, law enforcement and water storage. In reality, that's about all you've been hired to worry about for us here in CoCoCo. Forget the hummingbird retirement homes, moonbeam-to-heat for the unicorn stables, even the color-coordinated bike lanes and generally keep the cash away from the anencephalic kakistocracy.
