Maybe the police should be doing some about the unpatriotic protestors that stand out on the corner of Crow Canyon and Camino Tassjara every Wednesday demanding that we overturn a legitimate election. That is the biggest super spreader event going in Danville right now as most of them don’t wear masks. Instead of focusing on restaurants and people out exercising that is the real problem. People protesting legitimate elections not wearing masks and a huge spread of the infection nationwide after November 3. Coincidence? I think not

I have been wearing a mask every time I go out and about. I’m not sure why being considerate to others for the common good is now being mocked by some who are calling it “living in fear”, but it needs to stop... When I wear a mask over my nose and mouth in public and in the stores/supermarkets/pharmacies/offices.
I want you to know the following:

The DUDE,
Sounds fine to me, they obviously hate our country

Local Man, It is sad that so many people hate our country, hate our police, hate our history, hate our constitution, and think that replacing it with a system that shifts power to politicians who too often enrich themselves and their families.

Nancy, I agree that wearing a mask in stores shows respect for others but it is also required to enter. I have never seen anyone without a mask in a grocery store or small business. I do see people walking/hiking/biking without a mask covering their faces but they are also outdoors and more than six feet away which does fall under the CDC guidelines... unless recently changed. I personally have never seen anyone mocked for wearing a mask but will take you at your word.

I agree with Parent and Voter, People who stand on the street corner protesting a legitimate election (and without masks no less) hate our country, hate our police , hate our history, hate our constitution, and want to that replace it with a system that shifts power to a single politicians who always enriches himself and his family.

People should most definitely wear a mask. Those who do not when you pass me on the sidewalk (or if on a bike) are inconsiderate as hell!

Local Man apparently does not believe that people have the right to peacefully protest. He then emphasized that people who protest this recent election hate the following: police, country, history, constitution, etc. He added that these same people also want to replace our current election system with one that shifts power to particular politician.

Local Man’s vitriol towards his fellow Americans appears juvenile at best. His thought process is quite skewed - mostly because his train of thought outdistances his cognitive abilities; which of course have more to do with the mechanisms of how we learn, remember, problem-solve, and pay attention, rather than with any actual knowledge.

you know what I love Mr. Kalugin? people like you who for years have called others (primarily Democrats) unpatriotic and haters of the country who get so upset when the shoe is on the other foot. I truly believe anyone who supports Trump and what he is currently doing hates democracy and hates the country and its institutions (like the police) Trump has failed America in so many ways and if you are supporting him you are the problem and want the US to become a right wing dictatorship

Dont shower me with your " train of thought outdistances his cognitive abilities" BS. You probably just don't like what I said because the truth hurts

Local Man,

You lied, Sir. I never called any "group" unpatriotic, or haters. You appear to suffer from a negative phenomenon known as groupthink. Groupthink results in faulty or uninformed decision making. Some of the problems groupthink causes is failure to listen to people with dissenting opinions.

Instead of name calling, you might also want to clarify your opinions; although, I'm not sure I would qualify your thought process as capable. What you attempt to create in the way of anything meaningful, succumbs to anger and name calling. I would suggest that if you want to make a point, do so without the theatrics.

Ah! the Local Man... Read on...

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Boom.

Ya hear that? Freedom of speech? Freedom to assemble? Oh, but wait, there’s more... And this one is a goody! The Local Man said, “Maybe the police should be doing some(ing) about the unpatriotic protestors.” LOL!!! Hey buddy, the Biden protesters were out there too! And good for them. Watching Americans practice their constitutional rights is what this country is all about.

The Local Man (aka Local Marxist) attempted to tell only one side of the story. Credibility... Zero.

Wow Malcolm Hex read the 1st amendment. Good for him. As far as Biden “protestors” they were Biden supporters just like the trump supporters before Nov 3. They are not the whiny delusional people who are out there protesting a legitimate election every Wednesday since Nov 3. If you still believe you need to protest you really do hate America (free speech irregardless) and if you do it without a mask you also hate your neighbors
