With Danville's Fourth of July festivities canceled, town and Kiwanis Club now partnering on Labor Day parade

Three weeks after news broke about Danville's 2021 Independence Day parade being canceled in light of public health guidelines, the town government and the Kiwanis Club have unveiled new plans for a Labor Day weekend parade.

It's sad that so many events are still cancelled, but I guess Labor Day weekend it is. I'm curious what the turnout will be. The Fourth of July is celebrated on July 4. Kudos to Danville for "trying." June 15 can't come soon enough. 98% of Americans aren't affected by Covid. It's time to move on and deal with reality.
