What an utter waste of taxpayer money - to have a recall election one year before the gubernatorial election.

Concerned Citizen makes an excellent point. Sorry folks, but I’d keep Newsom any day over several Governor’s in other parts of our country. It’s a waste of time and tax payer money. He will keep his job come September 15 after he defeats every stupid person who thinks they can replace him. If Caitlyn Jenner is your answer I am laughing through my tears. Newsom will have another year and unless there is a “real” candidate to actually consider running during the REAL primary, then it will be the right time to vote him out(for those of you who want that to happen).

It's expensive, but necessary. If you're facing recall in a deep blue state, keeping in mind he's a popular politician and very progressive -- read between the lines. He's a failed leader, and he has no idea what he's doing. He had no idea what he was doing as mayor of SF. It's expensive to fire people in the workforce too, and it happens daily.

Newsom has nobody to blame but himself. He lacks the competence and intellect, and he's in way over his head.
