Looking forward to the park at the Borel property! A question: nearby there is going to be a new Costco gas station. Does anyone know what will happen to the wonderful Iron Horse statute that is(was?) in front of the Office Depot? It'd be great if it were relocated to this new park!

This would be horrible to build homes on this property. Traffic would be unbearable and it’s already bad now. With Costco traffic and cars taking off at Crow Canyon and using Camino Ramon north for a short cut to avoid the traffic on 680 northbound
this will become a major traffic problem.
Since Costco was approved to build the gas station across from the Danville location, that in itself will make this area just about impossible to deal with. When the people of Danville approved Costco to build and move into town, I don’t believe it was an open invitation for developers to take over any open spaces in our town.
I personally hope this doesn’t get approved!

It's a fantastic site for condo housing, I've been hoping for that for years. It has good freeway access, and the traffic would hardly be noticed amount all the car trips that are already being made in the vicinity.
I had not heard about saving some for a park, that seems like a good idea.
When I last looked at the Danville City Plan, the site had been zoned commercial, perhaps for more retail like Marshalls/Costco next door. Housing seems like a much better idea.

As indicated by another, the new Costco gas station and the proposed condominiums in this plan will impact this area significantly. As a resident of the neighborhood - not just someone who drives through occasionally - if this is approved, I hope the Town of Danville, EBRPD and Trumark Homes will come up with an appropriate access to the property that will minimize the increased traffic this project will certainly bring.
