SRVUSD’s just-concluded 2021-2022 school year followed mask mandates and remote / hybrid class activity with revelations about elementary staff personnel who spoke to a National Council of Teachers of English audience about their success in “queering the classroom” for 5 through 11-year olds, with read-aloud picture story books.

The books, recommended by “Teacher on Special Assignment” Korby Saunders, include these homosexual and transgender themes: “Books About Gender,” “LGBTQ Main Characters,” “Trans Representation,” “Challenging Gender Stereotypes,” etc. As I write, the Saunders list is presently still displayed, at Web Link

So far as I know, parents cannot opt out their young children from these story-book readings. One wonders if “Drag-Queen story time” is next, a perverse phenomenon already being funded by New York’s gender-bender “educators.”

Saunders and first-grade teacher Blaire Wyatt were exposed on national news in December as having secretly pushed 4th and 5th grade LGBTQ “PRISM Clubs,” with lunchtime meetings, timing which “eliminates a little bit of that parent interaction” that occurs if parents instead have to drop off kids early or pick them up late.

Parent-permission slips, required at first, were dropped, then finally reinstated — but only in OPT-OUT form, the wrong default.

The school year concluded with Supt. John Malloy topping off SRVUSD’s overtly racist “anti-racism” books and “Equity” programs by falsely blaming the Cal High Cheer/Stunt team for the infamous mannequin-head scandal ( Web Link ).

Malloy called it the “Cal High Racist Incident 5.23.22.” But the incident was evidently fabricated by a disgruntled mother whose daughter didn’t make the team.

Naturally, SRVUSD’s left-wing school board is now extending Malloy’s contract.

Is this the "the onion" or real news? Given the failure that the grifter, "Doctor" Malloy, has proven to be, it is an abomination that any consideration is being given to retaining him. The only "accomplishment" Malloy can cite is pushing the district further toward woke extremism which, finally, as of about a week ago may have landed him in hot water (see fake news mannequin story). Malloy is a joke, but hey, it's the apathetic tax player's money not the disastrous school board's. What do they care? The good "doctor" will steal another 200k annually just like many of the union teachers did during the pandemic. (I'm looking at you Mr. McTavish of pine valley PE fame).

Dr. Malloy is perhaps better suited for a community that is less reactionary and more enlightened in terms of promoting racial equality and progressive educational objectives.

The demographics of San Ramon and Danville (white/conservative/Republican) clearly indicate that these are not the cities to be promoting such radical concepts as racial equality and broader educational perspectives.

Except for the higher income levels and nicer houses, one could easily mistake either city for one in the Central Valley where it's hot during the summer and cold towards people of color.

As a member of the LGBTQ community, I find this rampant bigotry on the part of some San Ramon parents towards expansive education particularly disturbing.

San Ramon and Danville are both cities with strong 'law and order' attitudes and I wonder how many 'tough on crime' proponents are even aware that former FBI Director Edgar Hoover was also a homosexual albeit a closeted one.

Should he be excluded from American history as well?

Statistically 1 in 10 males are gay and they are out there among you depending upon the size of the gathering whether it be a small get-together, church social, concert venue, or sporting event.

Do not be afraid.

SRVUSD Glossary:

“Less Reactionary and More Enlightened”: politically correct descriptors for those who deferentially (and reverentially for Education PhDs ) sit down and shut up whenever a subversive “professional educator” or program “dares take on religion, free enterprise, patriotism, and motherhood” — since, after all, they “must” (according to “Guidelines for Academic Freedom in the Public Schools,” CTA, 1984, page 32), or when “educators” violate established tenets of child psychology, as in the case of “educators” who believe that children think like adults, because they are adults who think like children).

“Racial Equality”: the notion that although all humans are equal, some humans are more equal than others. SRVUSD textbooks actualize this important Orwellian concept, e.g. in “This Book Is Anti-Racist,” capitalizing all racial characterizations except for white because “Being racist against white people is not a thing.” Also essential: the “change and empowerment” needed for “racial equality” can be learned by 7th graders (in “Stamped: Racism, Anti-Racism, and You”) from the celebration of murder and rape in N.W.A.’s masterpiece, “Straight Outta Compton.”

“Progressive”: regressive.

“Broader Educational Perspectives”: outlooks which approve , e.g., of promoting homosexual and transgender themes to elementary students, including 5-year-olds who still believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy, and are just learning to tie their shoes — additionally, with secretive “Prism Clubs” (LGBTQ) Clubs for 9-11-year-olds, with meetings timed to avoid parental knowledge until pressure finally forces at least an OPT-OUT avenue for attentive, caring parents.

“Cold Towards People of Color”: The attitude displayed in Jesse Jackson’s 1993 comment: : “There is nothing more painful to me . . . than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery, then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved” (Baltimore Sun, 12-03-1993).
